Cancellation & Refunds Policy
At Baitulmaal NGO, we value the trust of our donors and supporters. Every contribution helps us continue our mission of serving widows, orphans, and underprivileged families. As we are a non-profit organization, we follow a strict yet transparent policy regarding donation cancellations and refunds.
Cancellations

Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made immediately after placing the order.

However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have already been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.
Duplicate Transactions

In case of a duplicate donation/transaction due to a technical error or accidental repeat, please contact us immediately.

After verification, the excess amount may be refunded to the donor’s account within 7–10 working days.
Failed Transactions

If your amount has been deducted but not reflected in our records due to a payment gateway error, please notify us.

Upon verification with the bank/payment partner, the amount will be refunded or adjusted against a future donation.
Event/Program Sponsorships

Sponsorships or contributions made toward specific events (e.g., Mass Marriages, Medical Aid, Education Support) are non-refundable, as funds are allocated immediately for the intended cause.
Refund Process

To request a refund for an eligible case (duplicate/failed transactions), please email us at:

Include transaction details, donation receipt (if received), and contact information.

Refunds will only be made to the original payment method used during the transaction.
Tax Benefit Certificates

Donations once processed will be issued 80G tax benefit receipts.

In case of refund (duplicate/failed transactions), the related tax certificate will automatically become invalid and must not be used for tax claims.
